...joined us at the Cartilage Repair Center after spending the last year as a Physician Assistant at the Bone and Joint Center of Southern New Mexico (Las Cruces, NM), where he worked in general orthopedics. He covered a wide range of orthopedic conditions and all aspects of pre- and post-surgical care. The majority of his experience was in total joints (knees, hips, shoulders), arthroscopic surgery, fracture care, and pediatric orthopedics.
Kiet completed his Physician Assistant education at Albany Medical College (Albany, NY), and his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine at Quinnipiac University (Hamden, CT). He has extensive prior experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, having also worked as an athletic trainer at Fairfield University (soccer and baseball) and Yale University (ice hockey and football).
Kiet is an avid weight lifter and CrossFitter, who obtained his Level-1 training certification in 2015. He also enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, photography, playing guitar, and traveling.
